Catch 22
The verdict was rendered in the military Supreme Court today. Regardless of the outcome of the Supreme Court the boys are in a catch 22-situation. I have no hope that the following trials will be any better than what we’ve witnessed so far in Kisangani.
I don’t hear anything from the Foreign Ministry. I’ve contacted them several times by e-mail. A source told me that a representative from the embassy will visit the boys tomorrow.
Yesterday an inmate died from advanced aids and tuberculosis in the prison. Josh says that they expect more deaths among the prisoners now.
