As said before, VG is in Congo trying to dig up some gossip in the Congo-case. They can’t find anything new to write about, so they take something old and pretend like its very-super-new. In the paper edition today, Tjostolv and a pygmy were over half of the front page. Above it say “New Congo-evidence made public” and it also says: “The private pictures that NAILED THEM”.
I think to myself that they have some pictures I haven’t seen before, so I have to buy this paper. Stupid as I am, I bought this paper to see what they’ve managed to “dig” out. It turns out that the picture on the front page is the only one we haven’t seen before. The other pictures are the famous “blood picture”, a banana cluster that has been shot through from Tjostolv’s escape in the jungle, and one picture where Tjostolv is chewing on a stick, also from the escape. Two other pictures are from Joshua and Tjostolv’s trip to Kisangani, and picture of the parked car. We’ve seen all of these pictures before. This is supposed to be damning evidence, and exceptional news?
I give up… anything to sell newspapers.
