We want to thank the seaman’s priest Terje Bjerkholt and his family deeply that he chose to spend Christmas with Tjostolv and Joshua in Kisangani.
It got quite busy for him because of all the Christmas presents the guys wanted him to get for their inmates that he had buy. And he wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. On December 28th he went home to Norway again. In a text message to our families he said that the last day with the guys was kind of low spirited. They’ve had many nice days together, and grew close to each other. Terje have spent many years in Africa, so they had a lot to talk about for the 5 or 6 hours they were together every day. Terje refers to the guys as strong and that they will cope in the time that will pass until they are back in Norway again.
