Tonight we heard that the Military Supreme Court in Kinshasa have scheduled principal negotiations to Tuesday March 30^th. The local lawyers have not been notified in advance, and the situation is that they have no chance to be present on Tuesday. The boys will stay in Kisangani.

Furuholmen and other lawyers at the firm have had a telephone meeting with the lawyers in England today. They are preparing a common note regarding the many judicial questions this case has presented. This includes many violations on both Congolese and international law. No one else was notified either. The principal negotiations must either be rescheduled or we can experience that it will be without defense counsels present. Furuholmen is planning a trip to Congo in connection with the trial. If it’s on Tuesday, that can be a problem.
