And so, we are preparing for the fourth trial again. It’s the third one to be held in the military court in Kisangani. According to the media and other sources two judges and a prosecutor has arrived Kisangani from Kinshasa. Lawyer Kibambe is present as well. Lawyer Likwela is living in Kisangani. Lawyer Furuholmen arrives in Congo tomorrow. Christian Larssen, the Norwegian representative is to our knowledge also arrived.

The British told me that they would send someone that will be present for at least parts of the trial. Some of the press will be present as well. The days have been long for a long time for Tjostolv and Joshua, and they are looking forward to “busier” days. They can also look forward to tasty Norwegian chocolate and support mail. They always appreciate that. It’s been very hot for them because there hasn’t been any electricity in the prison again. They can’t use their fans or listen to the radio without electricity. The lawyers still haven’t seen the ruling from the Supreme Court. Furuholmen and Dietrichson had a meeting with the Norwegian Foreign Ministry in the middle of May.
