This week 200 USD were stolen from the boys. This was money from the “Inmate to Inmate” account. They had this money to buy medication for the inmates. It’s someone who’s helped them with different things who stole the money. He gave the money to the inmate “prison chief”, which used it to bribe the guards in order to escape.
When the boys confronted him with this, and said they didn’t want any more to do with him, he said he would get revenge. Sometime after they picked up Tjostolv, and he was interrogated by the new colonel. The interrogation developed into allegations that they were trying to buy a weapon. The interrogation developed into punches and kicks by 2 – 3 soldiers while the colonel were watching and laughing. They took charging grip on a weapon. After this abuse Tjostolv were thrown into a dark cell, where he sat in piss and shit in 45 degrees Celsius for 4 hours before he was taken back to his cell, which then had been raided – nothing were found.We believe this can be an attempt from the new colonel to make money. If he doesn’t get any money, he will… etc. the military tribunal had apparently asked lawyer Kibambe to come. What did they need him for? It can’t be easy to get more than 11 death sentences and countless Donald Duck millions! This is a game about getting their hands on money; there is no doubt about that.
Nothing is working down there, and everything is chaos. The only thing the boys can depend on is their Norwegian lawyer and the Foreign Ministry.
We expect a sharp and fast reaction from the Foreign Ministry, if not this can escalate further.
