Politicians that make statements about the case

In the press today several politicians states that Moland and French should be punished when they come home to Norway!
That’s memorable statements.
I always thought that we have a judging power in Norway which is the court system and a legislative power: The parliament! Have we come to the point where politicians get to have their opinion about who will be punished, and what’s appropriate in a certain case? That’s just stupid!
Norwegian politicians were quiet as mice when the “trials” went on. All of Norway witnessed the madness, but not a sound from the politicians, why? Could it be that they were afraid of “stepping into the salad”? I would like to ask those politicians the following:
1. Have you followed the case in detail?
2. Have you read the verdicts? (they are posted on the website) And do you think they looked well documented and okay?
3. They are sentenced to death for espionage in favor of Norway, is that right and how long should they be imprisoned in Norway for that?
4. They are sentenced to death for killing their driver. Have you seen a single evidence to support this?
5. They are sentenced to death for forming a “criminal association”. Have you seen any evidence? And don’t you agree that it’s necessary to have evidence in a criminal case?
6. The verdicts say that they entered Congo wearing His Majesty the Kings Guards uniforms! Do you think that’s correct?
7. They are convicted for being members of HM the Kings Guards’ secret intelligence organization. Do you think that’s correct?
8. They were exposed to pure racism in court. Is that okay when it happens to Norwegians?
9. Both Moland and French have been abused and tortured, why didn’t you protest then?
When you as politicians make statements in single cases, I as a voter demand that you answer me point for point! If you don’t do it, this must be just populist rumblings you do to promote yourself. That is shameful in this tragic case.
The press is free to quote these posts, but in that case it has to be done in full.
