I notice again that they were forced to sign something that they didn’t understand. Tjostolv signed it “Colonel Moland”. Today we received the report Dr. Erlid handed over to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry. Its sad reading. He concludes that Tjostolv needs to go to a psychiatric hospital as soon as possible. He risks a permanent condition if he doesn’t get help soon. Tjostolv thinks he’s in spiritual contact with a pygmy, and other religious delusions. He does and says many things that are not logical. The Foreign Ministry experience difficulty getting medication in to the prison. This is critical. Tjostolv can be harmed for life if he doesn’t get to a hospital soon. I don’t even want to think about what will happen if he gets another mayor malaria attack. Edvardsen has made some positive statements. I hope with everything I’ve got that he’s right, and that positive things are about to happen. It does not need saying that they can’t go on for much longer.
